Booooooo !!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!   I'm on the couch waiting for some Trick-or-Treaters.... I hope I get a bunch. ;)

We had a great weekend full of Halloween fun.  I posted about our Punkin' Paintin' yesterday.

During the day on Saturday, we took Hannah to the local mall for a Fall Festival.  It was super fun.. full of costumes, games, candy, and face painting.

Hannah dressed up as a pretty witch.   She was plum adorable. ;)

That night Ryan and I went to a Halloween party with my mom and stepdad.

I was an oven and Ryan was a chef.  Get it ---- "bun in the oven." HeHe.

I think we looked quite cute.

My mom was The Phantom of the Opera.  She looked fab!

We had lots of fun -- unfortuantly, I was no good taking pics and these were the only two I got. :(

Happy Halloween and Trick-or-Treating tonight!!! Be careful!!!

Punkin' Paintin'

This weekend Ryan, Hannah, and I got our creative box out and did some Punkin' Paintin'.

We absolutely love doing crafts with Hannah.  Honest parent moment: WE GET TIRED OF BARBIES AND BABY DOLLS.  ;)   Therefore, crafts gives us a nice little break and pretty stuff to put around our house!

We bought 6 little pumpkins at Wal-Mart and I was hoping to do one for each family member: Dad, Me, Han, Zoey, Axle and Spike... but of course plans change. Which was fine... I looove all our pumpkins very much!  We had every color glitter and paint that you could think of and made a gooorgeous mess. HeHe.

This is the one I made.  It says "I <3 Ryan" and has purple polka dots on the back.  Cheesey, I know, but sweet!!! ;)

This is the other 5 we made. Hannah's two are on the top row.  Her pumpkins were adddorable.  She had Z's on them for Zoey and H's and C's and smiley faces.

Ryan made the two on the middle row... and he said he wasn't creative!!

and the last one is Zoey's!

I just love Fall becomes of fun stuff like this !

We had them sitting inside for awhile and then placed them on the porch this morning for everyone to see.  Just hoping the neighborhood kids don't steal them. : /

Better go bring them in..... Night!

Ryan's Bday Celebration!

This past Sunday my sweet family came down from Louisiana to celebrate Ryan's Birthday.  His birthday was about a week and a half ago... he turned 25!

We had such a fabulous time and I, of course, took lots of pics.

My Dad, Stepmom, Sisters, Sister Boyfriend and Grandparents came down.  We love very much when they all visit us!  We miss them lots since they are so many miles away in Cajun Country. ;)

My dad and stepmom gave Ryan this AMAZING grill for his birthday! He absolutely loves it.. and hasn't stopped talking about it since. ;)  Everyone brought down meat to grill so Ryan was able to show off his cooking skills.

It was all a big surprise to Ryan so that made it even more fun!

This is a picture of my handsome daddy and his three daughters.

Me, Dad, Jessica and Kaite

Again, my two gorgeous sisters, Jessica and Kaite.  Love these two soooo much.. they are going to be the BEST AUNTS Zoey could ask for.

Kaite playing with my Sweet Spike. ;)

Love family and love spending time with them!  We ended up grilling out again the next night and Ryan would have tonight if I would have let him! Haha.

Have a fabulous week!

Picture Problem

I absolutly love taking pictures with my iPhone.  Ryan says I have a serious problem but it is SO much easier than getting the camera out so I tend to take lots more.

I figured I could do a little update with pictures... that's always fun, right?!  If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook...then I apologize in advance because you have already seen most of these!

Hannah had her Fall Festival today at school and she was a little kitty. :)  We had lots of fun!

Hannah lost her first tooth last Wednesday! She was so proud... and the tooth fairy brought her $4.

Spike has beeen doing lots of hanging out with Zoey. They are best buds. ;)

That's my two love bugs.  Always looking so sweet!

Here I am at 27 weeks 6 days.

and 28 weeks 1 day.  Moving right along.

Ryan and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings Thursday night to watch the Rangers WIN and listen to Karaoke.  We had a great time!

Friday night we had a Fiesta Wedding Shower to attend and Ryan had to get involved in the festivities -- as usual!

Of course I had to take some pictures of my sweet boys.  This is Axel looking all handsome....

And Ryan and Spike when they first woke up Saturday morning.... they both look tired!

That's about it for now... I had a few more but they were sideways for some reason and I can't figure out how to flip them.  They look right on my phone and on the computer but not when I upload them to blogger...any suggestions?!

I'm sure I'll be back more! Have a good rest of the weekend!

iPhone and Such!

ATTENTION!!! I finally got a smart phone! Yaaaaay.

I have always used go phones or random phones people give me but NOT ANYMORE! I got the iPhone 4.

Which means, I finally have a cell phone with a camera... which is no good.  :)  I haven taken picture after picture of just random stuff.  I post everything and anything on Twitter, Facebook and now INSTAGRAM -- my other new obsession.  It's sad really.

This is my favborite pic so far -- my sweet Spike.

I can't even begin to imagine how many pics I will take when Zoey gets here. :)

**How do I send pics from my phone to my blogger?? I just emailed that pic to myself and saved it on my computer.  Is that the easiest way??

Anyways! Besides my new iPhone and Instagram (cannot.get.enough) -- I have discovered this:

MiO -- Berry Pomegranate drink mix.  It makes your water taste yummmm-o.  I'm trying to drink more water so this is really helping me!  This is the only favor I have tried but I'm sure the others are just as good.

This weekend I got:

Golden Girls Season 5 on DVD!!! Yaaaay.  I can literally quote Season 1-4 so it was about time.  No lie.. I have watched all the episodes ATLEAST 20 times each.  I watch them at night before bed and in the morning when getting ready for work.... Ryan likes them too! ;)  (Shhhh.)

I have been downloading lots of Apps to my phone too. Games and junk..ya know.  Is there any you suggest?!?

Oh -- Here is Spike and I -- I just love that little boy but can't get a good pic of us together!

I am totally loving this weather.  Super chilly outside and looking just like Winter.  Perfect!

Well, I'm headed to cuddle in bed with my sweet men and watch my Girls.  Busy week ahead!

Lovely...Just Lovely.

The title is from Blanche of Golden Girls. :)

We had a lovely...just lovely weekend. I actually took a few pics and thought I would share!

My mom invited Ryan and us out for dinner on Friday night.  My stepdad was out of town and she wanted to get out of the house so we ventured to a local mexican food restaurant.  It was faaaabulous! (No, that is not on my Low Fat Diet for my Gallbladder issues (you can read about here)....but DANG a prego girl can cheat right?!)

This is Ryan, me and Zoey Jett before we left the house:

I am 26 weeks and 1 day pregnant in this photo.  I feel like in pictures I look so big but I'm really not.. or I don't think I am! ;)

When mom came to pick us up she brought these adorable shoes that her and my stepdad got for Zoey! (They are bikers if you couldn't tell!):

They are super sparkly and glittery and say Harley Princess on the toe! So cute!

Saturday, we went to Marshall, TX for their annual Fire Ant Festival.  It was sorta hot but we had lots of fun! I got my funnel cake I've been dying to have. ( doctor does NOT need to know these little facts.)  :)

Here is my mom and I at the festival:

She bought me this adooorable burp cloth:

As you can family (and/or MOM) is having SERIOUS issues with buying Zoey anything and everything.  Which is fabulous! She is going to be sooo adorable and sooo spoiled which doesn't bother me one bit! ;)

I did realize today that I am one and a half weeks away from my 3rd trimester.  It made my stomach stink... I am soo nervous about the delivery!  (Another post coming soon.)

Anyways, since my wonderful low fat diet has begun (w/ a few cheats) Ryan and I have made a few adjustments around the house.  Nice healthy cereals fruit loops, no cinnamon toast crunch, no rice krispies...KILL ME NOW.  We have also changed from hamburger meat to turkey meat -- but VERY little turkey meat...mainly just grilled chicken.  NO cookies in the household whatsoever.  So yes, my nightly oreo fix is GONE.  I can say since Monday (my doctor's appointment) I have lost 1.5 pounds.  I'm not sure if that is good for a prego women but at the rate I was going...I'm sure it isn't hurting anything! ;) (Once again, there is a post on this coming soon.)

We just got home from Target...we registered for Zoey's upcoming baby showers.  Registering is TOO fun! We had like 110 items on there. Haha.  Of course, we do not expect them all but like to give our family and friends a wide range of possibilities!

Tonight we are doing laundry and watching FOOOOTBALL and that will be a wrap for our weekend! Hope you guys had a fabulous weekend too!

Bad New Bears

I went to my monthly doctor appointment this morning.  It didn't go as planned.

Now, let me remind you, things could be MUCH, MUCH worse and I am not complaining..just documenting. I am VERY, VERY blessed to be caring this amazing baby girl and am loving every minute of it.

That does not mean that there aren't issues that go along with it.

I thought I was doing so good on my weight but NOOOO, big mama over here is just packing on the pounds!! I am 25 weeks and 3 days and have gained 12 pounds.  Now that doesn't SOUND bad to me...but apparently when you gain 8 of them in the one's not so good. ;) My first five months of pregnancy I gained 4 pounds (per my doctor... I thought I was at 6 or so... but I'll go with what he says!) and the past month I gained 8.  Wow.  Can you say mexican food and oreos!?!

After my doctor told me, he said he wasn't too worried about it, I had done really good so far, so he wasn't going to complain... just to watch it.

Well, he then asked me if there were any new symptoms I wanted to talk about and I told him about this bad back pain I have been having.  It is directly in the middle of my back, on the right side.  I have had it for a few weeks now and I totally assumed it was a normal, pregnancy back ache.

The past two weeks or so it has been piercing through to my front... right below my right rib cage.  It feels like a knife going through the front and coming out the back.  I have been taking Tums thinking, at this point, it was indigestion or acid reflux.

I explain this to him, he feels around, and to my surprise I am super tender below my right rib cage.  Well, apparently, all these signs and symptoms point right to the gallbladder.  Lovely.

Of course, we didn't do any testing, we both just disguised it and believe I am having some gallbladder attacks.  Since I am pregnant this means watching what I eat... and praying that works.

At this point he suggest I try a low fat diet... and if that doesn't do the trick... then we will do a no fat diet.

I'm sorry?!?!?! DIET???!? I am pregnant!!  That is pretty much the only word I heard and/or cared about at the moment.  I have been living it up food wise, to say the least.  Now you want me to watch what I eat?!?!? NOOOOOO.

However, I DO NOT want to have my gallbladder removed while pregnant so I will do whatever I can to make sure I can make it to the 9 months or beyond.

I can say, I ate a salad at lunch (which come to find out is not good for those issues) and hurt all afternoon, then tonight I hate some whole wheat noodles and hurt all night.  NO GOOD.

Ryan and I did go to the grocery store and got lots of fat free food.  So I am hoping for better days to come.

If you have any suggestions or recipes or ANYTHING please let me know! I need all the help I can get.

Apparently, this is VERY common in pregnant women.. I had no clue! So no more fried food or greasy food and as low fat as I can get without starving myself and the baby!

Yee Haw.
